Dr. Barrett

Dr. Melanie Barrett earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine after receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She served as a Chief Resident at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Dr. Barrett is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. She treats women’s mental health disorders with an integrated medical approach. Dr. Barrett specializes in female patients with peri and postpartum mood disorders along with ADD/ADHD and eating disorders.
