Dr. Rachel Dalthorp is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been in private practice since 2014. She is the owner of a reproductive psychiatry practice called Balance Women’s Health and an interventional psychiatry practice, Mind Mood Pain. She serves on the board of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians and is the current President and a founding board member of the International Society of Reproductive Psychiatry. She is a board member and chair of the engagement committee for a local, clinically integrated network, Health. Dr. Dalthorp earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center followed by a 4-year psychiatric residency in which she focused on gaining expertise in the treatment of women with hormone related mood disorders and sexual dysfunction. She participated in a sexual health preceptor ship program at the Medical Center for Female Sexuality and regularly attends educational conferences related to the field of reproductive psychiatry and women’s mental health. Prior to entering the medical field as a physician, she earned a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center and worked in administration at KUMC and the Hoglund Brain Imaging Center. Dr. Dalthorp regularly provides teaching and consultation to medical professionals interested in reproductive hormone related mood disorders and in integrating interventional treatments into their practice. She completed specialized training in the interventional use of certain psychotropic medications approved to treat major depressive disorder and postpartum depression. Dr. Dalthorp is a business savvy and caring physician focused on advancing the field of women’s mental health care while providing innovative, personalized and attentive care to her patients.
